PERFORMANCES & AVAILABILITY

• Performances will take place on July 2 and 3

​

• Companies will presenting 2 different works. The two works can be performed in the same show or in two shows.

​

• Performances will take place at La Halle au Grains, a magnificent historic theatre with a large stage

​

• Tech rehearsals will take place from June 30 to July 2. Therefore, selected companies must be available from June 30. Once the selection process is complete, each company will receive a schedule indicating its assigned technical rehearsal slot and expected arrival date

​

• Departure date is to be schedule on the day following the last performance

​

 ELIGIBILITY 

​

• Both emerging and established companies/choreographers are welcome to apply

​

• Companies MUST apply with a minimum of 2 works

​

• Each work must be between 10 and 25 minutes in length. Excerpts from longer works are permitted; however, you MUST submit only the excerpt you wish to present at the Festival. Applications containing videos longer than 25 minutes will not be considered

​

• Works must be suitable for all audiences. Nudity is not permitted

​

• The Festival will provide support for up to 4 dancers per company. Companies are welcome to attend with more than 4 people; however, they will be responsible for covering any additional costs associated with the extra participants

​

• The submitted video must show the exact version of the work that will be presented at the Festival. Works in progress are not eligible

 EXPOSURE & OPPORTUNITIES 

​

The Festival serves as a production platform, providing artists with an opportunity to gain exposure and present their work to audiences in France :

​

• High visibility and exposure: Fewer than eight companies are invited to perform each year, allowing each selected company to benefit from significant visibility. Previous editions have received coverage in the press, on television and radio, as well as extensive exposure across social media

​

• Support throughout your participation: Companies can rely on the Festival’s staff and volunteers to help organize their trip to France and make the most of their participation. Support may include logistical assistance, translation, and help with any questions or needs before, during, or after the Festival. We’re here for you!

​

• Connections with professionals: The Festival invites theatre programmers and directors to attend the performances. We also share a communication package for each selected company with our database of theatre programmers and directors. This means that even those unable to attend in person can discover the selected companies through their information, videos, and contact details

​

• Master class opportunities: Selected companies may be offered the opportunity to teach up to 2 master classes in the technique of their choice during the Festival and will receive 50% of the revenue generated by the master classes. The selection of companies and master class offerings is at the Festival’s sole discretion.
